Recap of Fuzion’s Community Outreach 2018

Fuzion takes pleasure in contributing to a variety of community organizations and encourages its associates to discover the joys of volunteerism. Involvement in volunteer activities can bring about increased happiness levels, a feeling of connectedness, and provide opportunity for personal development. Supporting a focus on work-life balance, Fuzion’s paid time off volunteer hours program helps associates participate in volunteer activities without sacrificing personal time. Fuzion’s core value inspired culture not only contributes to successful business initiatives, but also to fostering a spirit of giving.

Points of pride in 2018:

  •  Fuzion continues to support Joy’s House in a variety of ways:

    • Sponsored a table at their Joy’s House Gala

    • Our annual Bake Sale raised over $300 for much needed facility items

    • Granted 23 holiday wishes of those guests at the Broad Ripple location

  •  Our Shepherd’s Center of Hamilton County appreciated Fuzion’s Annual Holiday Party sponsorship and our volunteers’ hands on service in making their event a huge success

  •  Another wonderful new partnership was with the Cancer Support Community of Central Indiana:

    • Volunteers assisted in setting up for their annual Fall Festival

    • Sponsored a table for their Holiday Bag Bingo event

    • Purchased items and assembled 200 art kits through their Emma’s Art Kits program that sends art supplies to adults and children going through surgical procedures and treatments

  •  Fuzion associates donated warm socks, hats, and gloves to Horizon House, a local homeless multi-service day center

  •  We held 5 blood drives through the Indiana Blood Center with an average of 13 participants each visit

  •  Our annual canned food drive gave us the opportunity to help both the Grace Care Center and Zionsville Food Pantry

  •  Once again, our associates cleaned out their closets for Dress for Success Indianapolis donations

  •  Our Backpack United of Hamilton County donation of collected school supplies benefited youth in our local community

  •  2018 marked the 3rd time we participated in the Indiana Sports Corp Corporate Challenge. This participation provided grant dollars and distributed sporting goods to local youth organizations.

  •  Our interns facilitated a cookout for the Brookdale Senior Living for the second year in a row, using the money raised from a bake sale

  •  Fuzion partnered with Million Meal Movement to pack over 15,000 meals that were given out to residents of Indiana in need

  • Raised over $1600 to donate to the 1 Million 4 Anna Foundation to fund research to end Ewing sarcoma

Fuzion is appreciative of the opportunity to engage with these organizations and help support their causes. We look forward to more opportunities to make a positive impact on our community in 2019!
