Fuzion IT Represents at 2019 Big Data Conference
Fuzion Director of IT, Matt Wuertz, and Business Intelligence Developer, Shashwat Chavan, were selected to lead a breakout session at the 2019 Indy Big Data Conference. The 2019 Indy Big Data Conference chose Innovation as this year’s theme and was held on September 19th, 2019 at the JW Marriott Indianapolis. Attendees could choose to participate in panel discussions and breakout sessions from four different tracks including Advanced Technologies, Trust, IoT (Internet of Things)/Automation, and Infrastructure. Several other associates from Fuzion’s IT and Data Analytics teams benefited from information shared in sessions in different tracks. As part of the Infrastructure track, Matt and Shashwat shared “A Case Study on How Fuzion Analytics Uses Data and Analytics to Drive Innovation and Improve Their Business.”
Matt and Shashwat gave an overview of the company and the long-term care insurance industry. They reviewed Fuzion’s business requirements for reporting as well as the data environment and architecture. Finally, they gave demos of the reporting capabilities used at Fuzion to meet the needs of the business.
Fuzion’s web-focused, self-service reporting solution has allowed data analysts and subject matter experts to find trends in their data, integrate data from multiple sources, automatically create reports on the fly, and improve fraud investigations. This has been especially useful for the growth of Fuzion’s fraud mitigation program and helping clients achieve desired results.
