Fuzion’s expertise in providing results-based solutions for the long-term care insurance industry will be showcased in a breakout session at the 17th annual Intercompany Long Term Care Insurance Conference in Jacksonville, Florida.  On Tuesday, March 28, Jennifer Batra, business consulting manager, and Jeff Ferrand, chief fraud officer, will join other industry leaders to host a breakout session entitled “Partnership between Analytics and LTC Operations: Tools & Rules to Improve Your Game.”

Other session participants include Charles Jenkins, Senior Claims Manager, CNA Insurance; Kenneth Musselman, Ph.D., Strategic Collaboration Director, Regenstrief Center for Healthcare Engineering at Purdue University; and Lisa White, Director of LTC Reporting & Analysis, Bankers Life.

The goal of this session is to transform the all too often used buzz words of “data analytics” and “predictive modeling” into an actionable operational plan centered upon the partnership between analytics and LTC operations.  The session will dive deep into using data analytics for:

  • operational planning, to positively impact both administration costs and claim payments;
  • identifying and utilizing critical data points;
  • most effectively integrating results into every day decision-making and operations; and
  • making a positive impact on long-term care fraud, waste, and abuse.

Fuzion is proud to continue to support the Intercompany Long Term Care Insurance Conference as a Diamond level sponsor.  As a company that values education and continuous learning, it is important to support organizations that provide development opportunities to our associates and our peers.  In doing so, we remain fully engaged in our resolve of transforming the senior insurance industry.
